A note from the DMC Homefront.....  I know this is the second update in one day, but Marlin thought I should share a little "Kelly Story" with you.  After we got done getting all of our stuff loaded on Monday morning, Marlin & Cody headed to Brooks with the water trailers and I took the dog and the registration trailer home.  By the time I got home I really had to get rid of the pot of coffee I drank and headed right for the bathroom.  I got to the toilet and "holy mother of pearl" someone put a real animal in my toilet!!  I ran out, slammed the door and all the scary movie scenes were running through my head.  I stopped in the living room and realized that our wedding picture was laying on the floor with shattered glass, other pictures were tipped over, a curtain was torn down in the office.....and then my stupid little dog starting doing that low growl!!  I grabbed the phone and ran outside and called Marlin (lot of help he was).  After he giggled a bit because he thought I was being goofy he told me to go check if anything was missing.  So I grabbed my handy dandy fly swatter and went to check the house (ya, ya, I know.....A FLY SWATTER??? but if you think about it, it really hurts if someone slaps you with one), and thankfully nothing seemed to be missing and there wasn't anything Marlin could do since he was in Brooks  so I called my daughter-in-law and she told me to get one of Marlin's .22 guns and then I asked her what bullets to put in it and she told me to just leave the guns alone and come over there.  I was really too tired to go anywhere so I thought if someone was in the house they were being quiet so I did what I always do in a time of fear......I made some more coffee and ate some chocolate and held onto my fly swatter until Marlin got home.  APPARENTLY.........last Thursday when I filled the motorhome with water and ran the hose through the window, I forgot to shut the window again and a squirrel spent the weekend in our house, got thirsty and decided to get a drink of water out of the toilet and never made it out of there again!!  ooops!  I don't have grey hair because of motocross, I have grey hair because of the stupid crap that happens to me!!

Year-end "fun" or "funny" racing info on September 18th information will be updated this week.  I am also finalizing all the Year-End Series Awards Banquet so that also will be updated soon.

Just a friendly reminder....11:00 PM is quiet time in the Pit Area.  We ask that you do not run loud generators / diesel engines, etc after that time (please).  For those of you who choose not to do this.....You get to babysit all the crabby little kids who couldn't sleep the night before.

Due to insurance restrictions......Effective Immediately:  We will not allow "pit bike" riding on Friday nights or anytime on raceday.  The only "riding" allowed is by registered racers to the gates and exiting the track (first gear idle only).  Golf carts  can by driven by "licensed drivers" only, as needed.  The only exception to this rule is those individuals with limited mobility, etc.
